Of course, then something else happens and the idea isn’t so good any more. Working through ideas instead of just running with them frustrates me to no end. It’s not patience, it’s thoroughness. It’s trying to solve a problem and creating more problems to create less problems later on or sooner. It’s another mix of habit and intent and need. There are too many possibilities, not too few. Too few is easier to work through. Too many, you have to take shortcuts, you have to make educated guesses; it’s annoying.
