Forgotten processes

One of the most frustrating things about computer tasks is how much I forget them. How did I do this thing I did for a year and a half involving audio? I can’t remember. So instead of even remembering where I got the idea in the first place, I go and try to find a new solution. I don’t even evaluate the old solution as one I can use again. Of course, it might not work out—the big idea, which is an editing process for the new project—so the technology involved doesn’t really matter.
