Slacking Off

I completely slacked off today. I took the day off and I slacked off. I didn’t mentally reset because it implies I expended the energy to hit the reset button. I would have been more productive if I’d sat and stared at a spot on the wall, because at least then I’d have been using my brain, whether I wanted to or not. It wasn’t quite a lost day, but it was certainly—and gloriously—close to one. I don’t think I’ve lost a day in years, not in the way I just didn’t do anything with it. Didn’t learn anything, didn’t really experience anything. It’s actually rather nice.
