It’s hard to beat a nighttime cool breeze. Lights out, window open, bit of night light in the moonlight and reflected pollution sense, bit of sound. It’s refreshing and soothing. Best in the country or a small town, just because noises in the distance contribute to the sooth. The absolute best for it is (or was) Ashland, Oregon. The temperature was perfect. Wind was perfect. Sounds were perfect. I could walk around that town for hours. So calming. Then I turned twenty-one and basically just drank and it became a lot less calming.
