New logo fail

After careful consideration and probably four hours of work, maybe five, over the last two weeks, I’ve decided to surrender to easy. Octagon, background color similar to the blog, with lines over the image a la Ladd Company and—to a lesser degree—CBS/FOX Video. It’s not a good logo. It’s not even better than the 10th anniversary logo, which was at least sensible and had a 2001 nod. Instead, it’s purely functional and I want it to be over with. Especially since the only place it gets used is the Facebook page I don’t do anything with.
